More than 500 hackathons have already been organized by Shawee! Meet some of them

Uber Hack

Urban Mobility is one of the biggest challenges faced by cities around the world. Finding ways to minimize the effects of traffic on people's lives was the challenge proposed by Uber Hack! This hackathon happened in six Brazilian capitals, resulting in incredible projects developed by a large network of people from the most diverse areas. There were more than 300 participants, 180 hours of marathon, 80 projects, 6 finalists and a great champion. The prize for the winners was a trip to the company's head office in San Francisco, in the United States, to know the initiatives that Uber has made in the most innovative pole in the world.

Itaú Insights

Insights is one of Bank Itaú's hackathon! In this second edition, the challenge was to improve the business of the small entrepreneurs, using emerging technologies. There were more than 1200 registered and 80 selected had the opportunity to developed solutions with the help of great professionals from the market and the bank itself.

Association of São Paulo Lawyers

Legal Hack was an initiative of the AASP (Association of São Paulo Lawyers) to foster innovation in the legal sector. Within this context, we created two actions that preceded the hackathon, in order to contextualize the theme of the challenge: how to reduce delays in the judicial sector? Around 80 people participated in this marathon! As a result, the AASP hired one of the teams to start their innovation department, which has the great mission of promoting mindset change.

Banco Original

Creating solutions with artificial intelligence using Open Banking and improving the customer experience was the challenge proposed by the Original bank. The hackathon had more than 100 participants, focused on creating the solution that would win the prize of 2 bitcoins! Second place still won 1 bitcoin and third place won half bitcoin. With this, Banco Original's hackathon paid more than R$300,000.00 in prizes, making it one of the biggest awards in a brazilian hackathon.

Faculdade Impacta

Providing freshmen of Impacta College with a differentiated experience was the goal of this hackathon. In the beginning, few students knew what was a hack marathon, but many of them supported the idea of creating solutions for an NGO that works with refugee children. The initiative mobilized more than 60 students from the first semester of technology and development courses.

Hack In Sampa

In the week of Brazil's debut in the 2018 World Cup, the second edition of Hack in Sampa mobilized 52 programmers who accepted the challenge of participating in a hacking marathon aimed at creating solutions that monitor and control the public expenditures. The initiative took place within the City Council of São Paulo. This second edition has already stimulated other cities to enter the project, such as Santos, Campinas and Osasco.
